Students are the center of the whole learning experience, not the teacher. I have been developing my classes to be more and more focused on real life, authentic material, intuitive thinking and positivity.
My teaching is based on several areas such as multiple intelligences, psychology of learning, Education 4.0 (''learn by doing''), gamification, learning experience design and more.
I am fluent in English, Norwegian and I know some Spanish, French and Italian.
Before any lessons, we will have a FREE and informal assessment to evaluate your Portuguese level and see what your goals and needs are.
I will always be available by email or chat so you can send me texts, audios or questions in between lessons.
Intensive Courses and Group classes are also available upon request.

I am Portuguese, born in the amazing city of Lisbon!
My teaching experience started about 20 years ago when I was still at the University studying Modern Languages and Literatures. My graduation was followed by postgraduate studies in Translation and several Teaching courses.
However, my enthusiasm for teaching started very early on, as my favourite child’s play was to pretend I was teaching my dolls and siblings. This was naturally followed by a huge passion for languages.
In my late twenties, after teaching in a few Portuguese public schools, I wanted to see more of the world and experience other ways of living. In 2007, I moved to the UK to work in state schools and later I went to Norway to teach Portuguese to adults. I ended up staying there for 7 years. Living abroad and speaking only the basics can be challenging and frustrating, so I decided to take Norwegian to a higher level. Following meetings at work as well as speaking fluently with locals was so rewarding and surely made me feel more ''at home''.
As a teacher, I believe it is important to refresh my knowledge often and keep myself updated with new approaches, methodologies and tools so that I can adapt my classes to the real world and to what each student really needs.
